To hopefully boost the participation I will sponsor 2 prizes: a €50 prize where every submission which counts per the HWBOT rules and is in the final listing on their website gives you 1 entry and a random €25 prize for members who participate (unique winners).
Team captains and me are excluded.

Prizes will be drawn when the competition is finished.

Guys i went looking thru boxes and found some old stuff. Got a 754 amd socket mb with a stick of ram and it HAD a cpu on it but in the move the cooler came off and many many pins were bent so i ordered another cpu tonight of fleabay. The only 4x agp card i have is an old nvidia so no help there. Got plenty of 8x agp cards. Found a 939 board and cpu. Found a 462 socket board with cpu. No clue whats under the cooler until I fire it up, thats even if any of them fire up. So not much help from me. Excited to play around with this old stuff tho. I got an old Compaq with windows 3.1 on it. Nice fps on solitaire. 🙂 A couple 3DFX cards, a matrox card and Real3D card. Still looking for more stuff. I know I have some old ram somewhere. I was wanting to play but I guess not.

I'd have to check the competition list, but there's probably an AGP Nvidia part too. 🙂  Definitely Skt 939 runs if its an Athlon, or an Opteron is fine on the DDR1 memory comp.  There's stuff that you mentioned you could probably run if it works. :wheee:

I am totally confused. I joined the team on the website, ran my 6800 thru timespy and when I sent it to the website it said error site might be down. Maybe I am just too damn old.

It's possible. I checked the team roster this morning and did not see your name under members. Sometimes it takes a little while to reflect.

You also might need to resize your verification screenshot. I error too if that's kept at original size. From my 4k display, I can resize in paint to 75% save as JPEG and that usually resolves that.

Working now I believe but site is laughing at me. Submitted a run, looked at submitted runs on team page and see no interesting runs submitted today. LOL. It took the submission with no pic. It came straight from 3D Mark. Should i run the 5700 XT?  I am just not sure if each piece of hardware counts or just the high scores for the category. Sorry for all the questions.

Don't be sorry for asking any questions, that's what we are here for. I saw that you did show under the team member area!

- I saw your Timespy run, but that is not going to be valid. I would like for you to look at Bastiaans Timespy run with his 3070TI HERE for comparison. Try to mirror his submission elements/screenshot inclusions.

Things you are missing

  1. Screenshots should be whole desktop pictures, no cropped images.
  2. CPUz CPU and Memory tabs open and visible
  3. GPUz tab open and visible
  4. A direct verification link like THIS one.

It reminds me that I should probably take a screenshot and do a "How to submit" to HWbot tutorial. Note: all benchmarks aren't created equal and some have different requirements/proof than others. Tournaments can be even crazier with rules and submission requirements.

Would definitely be worth it so you don't have to keep repeating the same info. A lot of questions have been asked and answered both in this thread and on the discord. I know I've thanked you already but again really appreciate you hand holding all of the first time HWBOTers through the process.

I'm hoping to get a couple runs in this weekend. Flying home in a couple hours. Just found out I'll be flying right back to Florida next week... I'm really starting to miss my former WFH IT job.

@mx500torid don't feel bad. I have been fighting with that submission system for more than a decade. You just got to accept that the HWBOT site setup is pretty trash, and it seems like there's hardly anyone that actually works on it.

When they changed the rules to full-screen and no cropped images I could never for the life of me figure out why my screenshots threw errors. Well go figure they are still in 1990 and expect a 648x480 image and definitely not my 4K PNG images.

So what I do is Ctrl+PrtSc, paste into new bitmap image, then resize that * to 25% and save as a JPG. I keep all of my results images in folders organized by whatever the hell it is I'm benching. So let's say today I'm benching Vega 64, my folder is named Vega64. My screenshots in that folder are going to be named FS-1 (fire strike 1st attempt), or FSU-1 (Ultra settings), SD-1 (Sky Diver), or whatever to keep me from losing my mind.

Ok here's a screwed up thing when running some of the 3DMarks. Sometimes when you view result online, it takes you to the result, but the link has a at the end of it. If you copy/paste that link with the question mark into HWBOT it's going to throw an error. You'll quit HWBOT for months or bang your head into the wall trying to figure out *. So what I do is after it redirects me to my result, I then click on My Results, and open the link to the result I just ran. This one won't have the question mark and won't throw an error. I don't think anyone at HWBOT tested or explained these kinds of hoops you need to jump through just to submit your damn score.

@Avacadoyes that's a great idea to show some how-to screenshots. I'll probably still screw it up but now at least I'll be able to blame someone 😄

Yes, They will throw out your submissions if it is part of the requirements for submission. Are you sure that the links aren't there in your history under my submissions on the UL website? Sorry bro. I should have caught that. It's a learning process, though it would sweet if all of your benches counted, we don't expect you to redo them if you don't have the time/energy to do so.

This is why Benchmate is so good. Everything is saved in a results folder.

apparently there's a Cezzane + W11 bug? GPU-Z and 3DMark show 0mhz IGP frequency but HWInfo shows it (2150) correctly. Hopefully it doesn't matter but it should get rejected 😞

probably ok tho since Luke's 5600G score is better anyway

HWBOT.ORG

The Radeon Graphics (Cezanne, 448 Shaders)scores getScoreFormatted in the 3DMark - Wild Life Extreme benchmark. ThePookranks #167 worldwide and #10 in the hardware class. Find out...

laptop is charging, gonna do that in a bit

double post but shhh

apparently the DDR3/IGP benchmark has to be a chipset IGP and not a CPU IGP? all the submitted results so far are chipset (ala 4290/7025) so I assume I'm reading that right.
