  1. No driver issues for me, and I have one of every AMD / ATI card ever made on their single GPU high end. My 6900XT had some issues, but that was sent out for RMA because it wasn't the drivers. I'm not too fond of XFX myself, but if that's the card you want, I wouldn't hesitate. Keep in mind their RTX performance this generation isn't as good as the 3000 series from Nvidia, but otherwise they're a fantastic card.

Glad you got the Venice ran and submitted. That screenie looked good to me, and @Avacadosaid he'd fight for it to be recognized if questioned, so good enough. To the quoted: You don't need to worry about HDD. Just select IDE or AHCI, and call it a day. Maybe put in the capacity if you want. It's irrelevant to the benchmark in question. RAM speed is 200 and PC3200. They're asking for the MHz value, not the DDR value. I have seen people put the DDR speed in runs at times (so 400), but I don't think TECHNICALLY that would be correct as DDR400 is running at 200MHz. And it specifies MHz next to it.
  3. That works too! I got to thinking too, my idea would get complicated. My idea v2 lol........I think just organizing the "re-order rigs" section so that the top 3 ARE your sig rigs and that's its own separate area to organize in would probably work the easiest long term, and just doing away entirely with the buttons to show / hide in sig. That way users can just drag them out of their sig in the reorder part. If that separated section is empty, you've hidden all rigs from sig. If there's only 1 rig up there, then you're only displaying 1. And then in your list of rigs, they'd all show up in that same order. If that makes sense. So rigs 1-3 are automatically "sig rigs", but if 1-3 (or 2-3 or whatever) is empty, the ones in spaces 4+ just move up a spot in the list in settings to compensate. I wouldn't THINK that would be too terribly difficult to code since the breaks, borders, fonts and everything are all already there. It'd just be a matter of getting the "settings" page (before the reorder) to cooperate nicely if the "sig rigs" section isn't fully populated. Kinda like this, and you could edit the titling to reflect it with the same fonts as the "Drag and drop your rigs to sort...." so that its more clear than my poor MS Paint job..... This would do away with the buttons in the settings page entirely, and the confusion. As is, what you've done definitely helps a TON to realize which ones are shown and which ones are not though. Just trying to help streamline the whole process with ideas is all. I'm sure you've probably already got something better in the works anyway.
  4. It'd be really nice if R* would fix the Ultrawide bug. Or even better any of the bugs in general that completely break the gameplay. -_- I'd be interested to try FSR out on it at native res using 110% maxed out settings. I'll bet its better looking than preset "Ultra". Idk what other titles support it yet. I know I'm using FSR on Cyberpunk, but I think that's still FSR 1.0 since the mod didn't work for me for some reason.....and FSR 1.0 doesn't really look that great. I'd honestly rather use RSR. EDIT: I know, I know, not exactly FSR 2.1 related. I love that AMD is getting better about this tech. It's helpful even for those on high end setups, and I can only imagine how helpful it is on midrange and lower cards. I'm back on my 5700XT right now, and things like FSR and RSR are literal game changers at my resolution. I'd just like to see more implementation of it on games that actually work right out of the box.
  5. I completely had forgotten about those buttons, so that was totally my bad. Maybe make the change so the top 3 are automatically shown in the signature and a button (only on those 3) to HIDE from signature (like they all have now)? Instead of having the button on ALL the rigs? And maybe some sort of a separation line between those 3 and the rest of the rigs? Nothing sharp or drastic, just a page break line like what already separates a post from a signature on the forums for example. Just an idea, I dunno how difficult it'd be to implement. It works GREAT now that I figured out my mistake.
  6. AHA!!! Good catch! I kinda feel silly now. All fixed on my end now.

    2022 Team Cup!

You're lucky I somehow killed my Toledo x2. Temp sensors say 105*C at like 1.10v on it underclocked. Slapped my Manchester into the rig, everything's fine. Definitely not the mount. *shrugs Just sucks, that was a 3.1GHz Prime95 STABLE ON AIR chip. -_- I feel ya on the medical problems. Been fighting with a bummed leg myself lately. Getting older sucks. I hope you feel better.
  8. Maybe its just because I have so many? o.0 I'm not complaining mind you, I appreciate the fact I can at the very least change the main one. It's still a welcome improvement regardless.
  9. Neither fixed it for me. Still not showing in correct order in signature, but its ordered correctly under my rigs in settings. I can at least change the primary one, so that's a huge improvement all on its own regardless. :)
  10. It's kinda working, kinda not on my end. Might just be because I made the changes and expected them immediately. Will check back tomorrow (later today). I ordered mine: AMDwhee, AMDerp, and then ThunderK7 as my third. Currently I'm seeing Phenomenon as my third still, but the other 2 are right, and if I go to rig creator they're set right too. It is REALLY nice being able to set my primary rig as the primary one you see in my sig now though. Much appreciated! EDIT: Yeah tried changing again to having AMDerp as primary, then Tole-hoe, then ThunderK7....just to see how the system works, if it does immediately. Main rig changed properly to AMDerp. Secondary still shows AMDwhee and third still shows Phenomenon, which both shouldn't be displayed at all. So again, will check back in the morning.
  11. It's actually JUST starting to cool off enough now, I could put my 290x back to work again if I needed to. I think we're kinda waiting for the hwbot team competition to be over with first though. I know I've been busy with that and some other projects before I can worry about getting folding going again.

    2022 Team Cup!

As far as I could tell, the GTX 460 SLI run was correct, but was overpowered by Flux's run. And your GTX 1080Ti run was overpowered by RTX 2080 cards, so as far as I could tell you're good. Idk if those were the only errors on the iGPU run though, but as far as I can tell it should be 100% correct now.

I can guide you through making the submissions correct mate. So long as I wasn't put in the time out corner myself.....

/img/logo.png pioneerisloud`s Cinebench - R11.5 score: 1.33 cb with a Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (Manchester) HWBOT.ORG The Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (Manchester) @ 2700MHzscores getScoreFormatted in the Cinebench - R11.5 benchmark... There you go @Avacado. I told you I wasn't gonna settle on a stock run. @Fluxmaven watched the whole run too, it was legit, so don't put ME in the corner either for it. Ask anybody that knows Socket 939. 2.70GHz on a Manchester core x2 is a good run. My 3.1GHz stable Toledo apparently has died sometime, I'll call it a pre-death. But 2.7 on a Manny, with..........DDR-540....... I'm impressed enough with that run for what the CPU was. Now, I'm eyeballing an Opteron 175 like SERIOUSLY bad for $40. Should be a 3GHz+ chip based on the stepping and date codes....... Kind of want. Then I could properly use this really good board again. Sigh, ebay is taking me over again and I don't have the spare $40.
  15. I'll repeat my same comment from YT...... "Pls pls pls be playable with a 6900XT at 4k. At least give us FSR capabilities that make it so."
  16. Ahhh yes, the Tide Pod generation is building computers now.
  17. Interesting problem, and interesting solution I suppose. What's wrong with busting out a paper towel and rubbing alcohol again (or a Q tip)?
  18. Have you been peeking on what I'm getting ready to write up for my reviews?
  19. I must've mis-remembered his power, he's using a Peavey CS-800 in that video. He was using 45w each BEFORE that video, that must've been where I got it from. Here's the thread: Build your own 2x12" TH (The Kraken 212 TH) | Page 4 | diyAudio WWW.DIYAUDIO.COM You got pics? it looks like a box in the back of a van, this box, Reed Exodus Anarchy 25hz Tapped Horn - AVS Forum scaled up about 20%... Obviously you can't build that same setup TODAY since those subs are no longer manufactured or sold. But the same concept could hold true. Tapped horns can be absolutely mean, but they're huge usually.
  20. I wrote a couple (bad ones) on audio gear I bought. I don't think it matters that much what you're writing about, so long as its tech oriented and you enjoy it. Games would certainly fit that category.
  21. Build yourself one of these then. That's 2x 12" JBL subs I believe it was, off just a "measely" 100w RMS to the pair of them (50w each). The enclosure is what makes the sound with subwoofers most of the time. Watch the left corner WALL of the room.....that's his sub box.
  22. Unneeded bump. We're definitely lacking in the amateur reviews section guys! C'mon, review your garbage you're buying! I see you guys posting in the "What did I buy today" thread. Review it!
  23. The Logitech system is "boomy" because its tuned higher than the Klipsch subs are. I've stated the solution already, get better front speakers to replace the Logitech 2.5" or 3" speakers you're using now, so you can use a slightly lower crossover frequency on the 12" subs. You're missing probably 60Hz-200Hz or so as is, even WITH your crossovers on the subs set to a really high point. A 12" speaker just doesn't do higher frequencies as well as a smaller speaker does (usually). A good pair of bookshelf speakers or a pair of those same center speakers you have would extend down to 50-60Hz no problem and fill in that mid bass section that the Logitech "sub" does on its own. You probably wouldn't even NEED the 12" subs at that point to compare to the Logitech z623 setup. But of course, dual 12" Reference Klipsch subs rattling your bones down to 30Hz and below, why wouldn't you? You also said you bought the z623's for another setup anyway, so I'm not going to yell and scream too much about it. But yeah, getting rid of the Logitech speakers in favor of some better front Left / Right speakers WILL give you that mid bass "thump" that you're after with the Logitech's sub.
  24. Gorgeous shots man! I don't smoke anymore, but the offer to hang is still valid.
